In this beginner course, Skill Samurai provides foundational computer science training using MCreator and Minecraft. Covering key coding concepts such as basic conditional statements, loops, and functions, we build a series of progressively more rigorous projects that provide a solid foundation in Minecraft Modding. Students will build a number of custom mods including swords, blocks, ores.

Skill Samurai's research-based, project based learning (PBL) approach to Minecraft 1 keeps the learning fun and engaging, while ensuring a solid foundation in CS.

Students should bring their own laptop, and headphones.

Students need their own Minecraft PC account, which can be purchased at minecraft.net
